World Hearing Day is a global annual advocacy event celebrated every 3rd of March. This campaign promotes ear and hearing care, raises awareness of hearing loss, and calls for action to tackle the condition and its accompanying problems.
The World Health Organization and its partners organize the events centered on the theme — “Ear and hearing care for all! Let’s make it a reality”, focusing on ensuring access to ear and hearing care services to all who need it, as an essential health service. World Hearing Day 2023 will highlight the importance of integrating ear and hearing care within primary care as an essential component of universal health coverage.
We at SoundLIFE Hearing support this annual event by encouraging everyone to protect their hearing for a better life. Hearing loss is one of the most prevalent health issues in the world that affects people of all ages. Many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realize they are missing out on certain sounds and words. Checking one’s hearing would be the first step toward addressing the issue.
