  1. JPA (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam)

Eligibility:

  • Civil servants and their dependents.
  • Children under 18 or still in education.

Covers:

  • Provides subsidy for hearing aids.

How to Apply:

  • Get a referral letter from a government hospital or ENT clinic.
  • Application will be processed by Government Hospital Audiologist and submitted to JPA.
  1. JKM (Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat)

Eligibility:

  • Must be a registered OKU cardholder.

Covers:

  • Financial support for assistive devices, including hearing aids.

How to Apply:

  • Register with JKM and submit medical documents.
  • Usually requires several quotations from licensed hearing aid providers.
  • Submit JKM18 Form at the nearest district or state JKM office.
  1. PEKA B40

Eligibility:

  • Malaysians aged 40+ under the B40 income group.
  • Registered in Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) / BPR.

Covers:

  • Health screenings and hearing aid support.

How to Apply:

  • Visit a PEKA B40 panel clinic or check eligibility online.
  • If eligible, referral will be made to a government hospital audiologist for further assessment.
  1. LZS (Lembaga Zakat Selangor)

Eligibility:

  • Muslim residents of Selangor
  • Must qualify under Asnaf (zakat) criteria

Covers:

  • Medical aid for hearing aids

How to Apply:

  • Apply at any LZS branch or online portal of LZS.
  • Submit hearing test report and one (1) quotation from a LZS panel company.
  • Obtained verification by an ENT doctor registered under MMC and NSR.
  1. ATM & JHEV (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia & Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran)

Eligibility:

  • Active or retired military personnel
  • Registered with ATM or JHEV

Covers:

  • Hearing aid support for eligible soldiers / veterans

How to Apply:

  • Apply via military hospitals or JHEV
  • Submit audiological assessment and documents
  • Application will be processed by Government Hospital Audiologist.
